ezra on -isms

well, this past year ezra's language has grown leaps and bounds ... and of course, as such, he has had a few bumps in the road to correct pronunciation.

some of his really early ones:

"viver" = river

"zizard" = lizard

"zoozeum" = museum

recent funnies:

"lightening n'queen" = lightening mcqueen (from cars)

"doc hoodson" = doc hudson (from disney's cars movie)

"bizurt" = dessert

"crotch roat" = cockroach

"hurray" = parade

"cimmanin" = cinnamon

"matkin" = napkin

"ice crean" = ice cream

"matnet" = magnet

"it's not time for titar, daddy" = said every time eric picks up his guitar, also ezra's desperate attempt to keep daddy present in reality before he goes off into his la-la dreamy guitar-playing state where you talk to him but for some reason he just never hears you :)

"daddy, can i do SOME two assignments?" = ezra always asks this before we leave the house, take a nap, go to bed, eat lunch or dinner, etc ... basically, it's his way of getting about 2 more minutes of play time in while eric sends him off on various engine "missions" all around his track. it would be grammatically appropriate if he asked to do just two assignments or just SOME assignments, but nope, he combines both words ... "some two assignments" :)

"hello, mommeeezzzz!" = he thinks it's funny to pluralize our names
