2 months old = you are my sunshine!

she is my sunshine, my only (+ezzie!) sunshine,

today was lizzie's first trip to the pool. it was a truly celebrated event since we have been holed up in the house for six days since ezra has been sick with a virus (try 105 fever on sunday - yikes!). lizzie decided to get fully decked out to celebrate the sun. well, okay, maybe it was mommio who helped her make that decision. :)

lizzie is doing great! she had her 2-month check up last week. her head is 90% (why do my babies have such big heads?!), length 50%, and weight 75%. dr. k said that she doesn't put breastfed babies on a diet because that's between me, lizzie, & God! :)


these days lizzie:
-likes to have little heart-to-heart convos with mommy after nursing, cooing and smiling so sweetly
-loves to lie under her baby einstein playmat and look @ the star lights
-enjoys staring @ ceiling fans
-is starting to grasp objects
-has rolled over TWO times already!


eric left sunday for a "continent" as ezra calls it ... yes, he left me for four days with the kids ALL.BY.MYSELF for the first time. i was SUPER nervous. it was even more exciting since ezra was sick and got SUPERRRR sick on sunday = the day daddio left. pure A.W.E.S.O.M.E.N.E.S.S!!! i had a meltdown this morning when eric called me this morning to inform me that his flight was canceled and that he would not be home until the next day! he worked some miracles to get home to his family and one exhausted momma. 12 hours late is better than another 24! we can't wait to have him back!!!
