the other night, ezra and i were having a ritual bedtime - reading a chapter book (right now we're on the second Boxcar Children book :) and then "singing and praying."
during our prayer time, ezra prayed,
"dear Jesus, God bless mommy, daddy, bun bun*, and lizzie..."
*let's all acknowledge the fact that bun bun has been dead over a year now, which ezra is well aware of. nevertheless, he still prays for him nightly! :)
"and please provide a good job for daddy. and if he gives up that job, help him to get an even better job. and if he gives up that job, help him to get the BESTEST JOB EVER!"
"and Lord, I really want another baby. can you please give us another baby? and please help the baby to be sooo, sooo sweet. and please help the baby be sooo, sooo cute! we love you, Jesus! AMEN!"
sweet little boy. i think if it were up to him, our "quiver would be full" of little ones! :P

Oh, we miss that sweet boy!
Amelia (out of the blue) prayed the other night that we would NOT have another baby. Peter and I looked at each other in astonishment. She explained that she likes our family just the way it is. Glad we're all hearing the same thing from God on that front!
This is too precious for one Nana's heart this morning...
How can God make it that Nanas love their little grandchildren sooooooo much?
Would love to hug sweet Ezra so. He is truly a sweet, sweet little boy! Precious heart.
