your big "plans" for friday night start by putting your kids to bed ... and end there!
yep, eric and i were putting ezra to bed together around 7:45pm. lizzie started fussing so eric went to check on her. after prayers and singing, i fell asleep in bed next to ezra.
around 11:30pm, eric wakes me up to pump (he gives lizzie a bottle every night to keep her flexible.) i was dead.to.the.world, stumbling like a drunk person, not sure what day or time it was, etc! after somewhat getting it together mentally, i asked eric what he had been doing? he had fallen asleep SITTING UP! with lizzie when he left ezra's room until ten o'clock at night!!!
wow. sad news? we both went straight back to bed ... and slept for another eight hours each.
the end to a long first week back @ work for mommy.

Ooooohhhhh.... Pretty tired sweet little family. Yep, you ARE in a different stage of life when sleep beats Friday night plans... Glad you guys could get another 8 hours of rest.
