bucket list weekend

this weekend has been one of our faves in waco.  knowing that our departure from this little city is imminent, we have made a family bucket list, and we've been going to town crossing items off!  the weather is glooooooor-ious, so it was wonderful to spend quite a bit of time outdoors.

friday night - movie night with uncle "jobay"after watching the news as the Boston bomber was captured

saturday -

• waco mammoth site *delightfully surprised; make sure you wait for the tour, though!
• ezra had a zoo date with josh & mal while the rest of us took naps :P
• BU marina - canoeing as a fam ... it was both kiddos' first time on the water.  we had a TOTAL ball!!
• dinner @ shorty's with some of our BU besties - mateo, jorge + TU friend, chris & jena
• jurassic park in 3D with our BU besties crew - shorty's pals + lisa, tiffanie, spoon, sean + friend while tyson stayed home with our sleeping bambinos

sunday -

• church at our sweet, sweet dayspring - mourning and praying for the people of Boston & West, TX
• lunch @ penland with monica, jorge, & lisa
• hiking in cameron park
• dinner @ free birds! 

as i look over the past few days, i realize how blessed we are to live in community with so many people who we love dearly. even though we are thousands of miles from our sweet families, our waco family has helped fill the void.  we will miss this place, and we are thankful for our remaining weeks and months that we can share with the people we love!
