As you can see from previous video/pictures, we have ventured into the uncharted waters of solid foods. The latest voyage involved eating peas (one of daddy's least favorite vegetables). Let's just say that this voyage was not as successful as we had hoped, though it makes for some cute video footage.
Way to go! You will now be able to enjoy one advantage of NOT living near grandparents and aunts and uncles...no one will be slipping him junk food behind your back to help him learn that, relatively speaking, veggies ARE nasty! :)
If this kid has as much Wilkerson in him as mine does (and I'm supposing that's the case), he'll be really happy about eating veggies as soon as he can handle small soft chunks of them to pick up and put into his own mouth. This from the mother of Noah, who had 8 teeth in his mouth by 10 months and quickly lost interest in breastfeeding once he sampled steamed diced carrots and tiny bits of steak!
Good luck convincing Ezra that veggies are delicious by September! :) You really want to have him brainwashed by then...or either dress him in a t-shirt that says "My mother will shoot you if you feed me ice cream"!

Love the running commentary. :) Clearly, he loves peas....ha!
I'm enjoying my last days of not having to deal with "real" food...he's precious. ~Janelle
This was laugh-out-loud HYSTARICAL!!! I was cracking up by the time he stuck out his tongue and gagged. So cute!
