It is official. At 5-months of age, our son has ventured into the happy land of rice & oatmeal cereals, and he is loving it! He tries to help us feed him faster by grabbing the spoon every time and shoving it into his mouth with us. Our real fav is how he sucks on his fingers to help him swallow ... which really means that he gets the cereal all over his hands ... and then somehow shows up in all the strangest places like his face ... and ears ... and hair ... and the back of his neck. Recently, our dear friend Kelley was holding him and commented on how bad Ezra's scalp was peeling again (since she witnessed his nasty battle with cradle cap as a newborn). I quickly realized that that was just a spot in his hairline that the wash rag somehow missed!

Love the pictures...ALMOST makes me want to have another one. I can't decide how I'm gonna feel once Noah is totally out of diapers...will I want another baby? Or will I just be glad to be done with the baby stage? Or will I swing from one to the other all the time? I'll hold Baby E at the beach, and then we'll decide, I guess!
I just found your blog from Janelle's blog. Ezra is ADORABLE!!! I can hardly wait to meet him--maybe when he and Ryan are able to interact with each other.
Oh my goodness! I can not believe how big Ezra is. And I can not believe that it takes a blogspot for me to keep up with him when we live in the same town! Enjoy your new place.
He is tooooooooooo cute!!! What a wonderful way to start my day before I go to work!! It's such a joy to relive those precious moments!!!! My friends at work say they've never seen a baby with such huge eyes and so many expressions............ Love you all!
