well, the past week was really crazy academically for me, so my mom flew in to take care of ezra so eric and i could study our hearts out! just before she got here, we taught ezra how to say "nana!" this, of course, was just thrilling for my mom.
then, it seemed he had a little vocabulary explosion with her coaching and added "oo!oo!" like a monkey, "tic-toc" like a clock, and "sssss" like a snake to his list. if you listen closely, hopefully you can hear him on the video below. since she left, eric taught him how to roar like a lion. it is TOO cute! we are so proud of our little guy!

You will never know what joy this past week brought to your Nana's heart until someday you are a grandpa. Thank you for such sweet memories!
