well, if it's not one bout of illness, it's another. ezra is really sick. we rushed him to the doctor yesterday afternoon with a 104.2 fever. upon our arrival, the verdict: pneumonia, double ear infections, and pink eye. let's not forget that he is teething and suffering from diarrhea as well. he is very, very sick. unfortunately, the doctor thinks the pneumonia is viral, so we pretty much just have to wait it out the next couple of weeks. so far, our days look like ezra just wanting to be held. he is also sleeping a TON. on sunday, he was awake for only 4 hours out of a 24-hour period!
he has also learned another new word. "no!" he likes using this word when we are trying to give him one of his 412 medicines - ear drops, eye drops, cough medicine, antibiotic, nose spray, ibuprofin. can i blame the poor little guy?
despite his aliments, he is managing to still be pretty darn cute every now and then. while nana was here, she bought ezra a little "i see spot" doggie book. whenever we turn to the page with the clock on it, ezra says, "tic-toc!" and when we open the flap of the clock with the snake inside, he says, "ssssss!" i could just eat him up!
also, today ezra is officially 14 months! happy 14 months, lil man! wish you were feeling better ...

When I first read that book to him he laughed and laughed. That little book is where "oo-oo, ssssss, and tic-toc" all started! Nana
So sorry!! Pneumonia is no fun and I certainly hope he is feeling better soon!!!
