more words

just to update everyone, some of lil e's latest words ...

friends and fam:
"doots!" - for stoops, another hall director here and a dear friend (ezra literally says this whenever we just start walking over to the clubhouse or even if he sees Stoops drive by! it's crazy!)
"baby anehia" - that's for baby amelia, his favorite baby in the whole wide world
"eh-yah" - for ellie, his favorite big girl in the whole wide world
"papa" or "gandpa" - whenever he sees a picture of my dad
"abi" - whenever he sees a picture of uncle adam
"emma" - whenever he sees a picture of aunt emily
"adda?" - whenever he sees a picture of uncle andrew, this is the toughest for him

and just today:
"dabby" - for gabby, one of my cls
"lala" or "yaya" - for laura, one of my other cls!

random words:
apple - says it as clear as day :) (as in to inform me today at lunch what he wanted to eat - uh oh!)
"PEAS!" - for whenever he asks for something and i ask him to say please. he always gets excited and kind of shouts this word. it is SO funny.
peas - also for the green vegetable. nothing like killing two birds with one stone, right? :)
"animoo" - for animal crackers. his new favorite snack. also for animals in general.
"butt" - for nothing other than a butterfly of course! :)
"butt" - also referring to a button, which when we are reading, he always turns around and points and looks for buttons on me (which i almost never have)because he does this with daddy who almost always has them; he also looks for them on his jammies, which is really cute, because they are never on there either, so usually we settle on looking at mommy's button on her pants or something
"butt" - finally, he often says this when pulling up his shirt and proudly showing you his belly button. of course he will want to see yours next, which can be mildly embarrassing in certain company (such as my boss!).
"chews!" - also likes to yell this word for shoes ... followed up by pointing at his feet
socks
kite - 'nuff said
"bopple" - for bottle
yo yo - another random word in one of his little books
duck
"spoo" - for spoon
"bocks" - for blocks, which he LOVES to play with - especially to stack the single blocks as high as he can til they all topple over

a few sentences:
"i need that!" - yes, he likes to say this quite a bit and point to whatever he needs ... let's be clear, he is ALWAYS referring to wants!
"i do _________" (fill in blank with verb) - usually this comes in the form of "i do watch!" which is his way of saying he would like to watch his baby einstein video
"i want mama" - said while mommy has been really busy with training and not around as much as she would like. could he be any sweeter! i don't think so!

Told mom and dad last night that he is calling us their names and it is AOK with them. They can be Papa Red and Nannie El. But I do hope he does go back to Nana? Time will tell. What a cheery way to start the day over coffee--reading his new words. He is a sweetheart!
