we wanted to make the most of the last few days with them and there was "big FUN!" (a phrase christy always uses) to be had! on friday, we met up for lunch and went to a local spray park. the boys had loads of fun as you can see below (check out their matching swim trunks):
sweetie pie ellie came along and helped us take care of the babies.
brooksie and ezra had fun scootin' around in christy's new trendy stroller from phil & ted's - LOVED it! like cloth diapers and making your own baby food, christy has made me a believer out of another product! :) if you can afford to swing it, they are selling these UNBELIEVABLE things at costco with the double for $299 right now ... a total STEAL! (input is one of christy's top 5 strengths, so she is always a magnificent source of information. one time, i had a question, and by the time i had gotten home from dinner, i found several emails with links and answers to my question sitting in my inbox! what a friend!)

the boys also had fun at the park together.later friday night, we grilled out and had them over for dinner since pick'ns were pretty slim @ their place since everything was all packed up! after dinner, we bathed the boys, and i just coincidentally picked out jammies for ezra that matched brooks'! our two lil' peas in a pod! one thing that is so sweet is that when brooks sees ezra, he will say "ezzzzz." melts my heart every time! (ezra is still working on recripocating.)
today (saturday) was packing and moving day for mom and dad, so christy and larry dropped brooksie off at our place at 8:30am. we were blessed to have him all day with us! the boys were so super cute playing together at a nearby park - playing chase, "talking" to each other, and fighting over the slide. we also toted 'em around in the fun phil & ted's stroller again. brooksie also gave us a scare when he tried to swallow about 6 small rocks. let's just say my finger has explored every millimeter of that child's mouth now. :)
back at home ezra was living up to his name - "helpful" when it comes to even changing brooks' diaper! (he crawled into eric's lap to do this.)
one thing that make its so easy to have brooks over is because he and ezra are on similar schedules. they both take a 2-hour nap in the am and in the afternoon, and they go to bed at the same time (7:30pm - yes, it is a beautiful thing), too (thank you baby whisperer!). it is so fun and easy to have him over; we are so sad he (& his 'rents!) have to go! anyway, during their afternoon naps, eric went over to larry & christy's to help them load the truck. when the boys woke up, i fed them dinner, and then we all went to the clubhouse pool for a farewell bbq! many friends gathered to wish the hyphenated family farewell. 
while everyone cleaned up, i popped the two babies in the bath for one last go 'round. up in ezra's room, the boys gave each other kisses. ezra tried to blow his (he just leaves his hand over his mouth and blows through his fingers.) he then waved and said "bye bye!" which basically made me and christy cry since it was the final farewell. gosh, why do sweet friends have to go?!? we are so grateful for the time we have had with you all. we will love and miss you all dearly! come visit us when you can!!! oxoxoxoxo
