a star is born!

new word, new video - painfully long b/c it was shot on my digital camera and i'm ignorant and can't figure out how to convert it to a format that i can edit it (hello, aunt laura? HELP!), so sorry. despite the horrible shooting, the fact that its crooked (seriously???), and the overall randomness, i know the grandparents will still love it. one should note that ezra LOVES looking at our blog and our friends' blogs, especially his good friend's amelia's (and we are certainly not calling her a potential girlfriend lest her dear ol' dad threatens to pull out one of his hunting knives no matter how insistent sarah is that their marriage is practically already arranged ...). he especially likes her blog due to the music, which encourages his dancing (the cute little hip-wiggling action you'll witness in between songs).

so like i said, i shot this video right after he and i had finished looking at our friends' blogs. when i was done, i got up and encouraged him to go play. he went back to the chair by the computer, hiked up his little leg, looked at me with big puppy eyes and said, "up!" after i plopped him up in the chair again, he just sat there entranced, staring very intently at the computer screen and appearing to be very proud of himself for being a big boy doing what big people - like mommy & daddy - do all the time (working on the computer, ugh!). his delight and intensity is pictured here:

at some point soon i hope to list all ezra's words and sounds just because i don't want to forget them! for the record, though, ball is DEFINITELY his alltime favorite word. he says it like ... umm, 200 times/day? i.am.not.kidding.

I'm telling you- they would be perfect match!! I better get a wedding invite.

Secondly- it's even cuter to watch him say it then when you tell the story (which is also cute!)
