dear daddy, today of all days, i just wanted to tell you what an awesome dad you are. first of all, you take such good care of me. i love being with you - playing guitar, throwing the ball outside, touching the chimes, practicing driving the car, reading books, making fun animal noises, playing chase, and rough housing. i know how busy you are because you have lots to study, but you always take the best care of me. thank you for teaching me what it means to be a good man - loving, gentle, strong, patient, wise, just, and lots of fun!
i hope you had fun today on father's day. just so we don't forget, this is what we did for daddy's special day today:
1. went to church
2. went to daddy's favorite restaurant texas roadhouse
whoever would have thought that i would love a cactus blossom at only 16 months old!
the steak and pulled pork was super yummy, too!
reading my new book with you, daddy - a special present just for you!
i really was fascinated with armadillo andy! i wasn't scared at all. in fact, i tried to crawl down and chase him around the restaurant!
ride 'em, cowboys!
3. went shopping for sunglasses for daddy's present
4. came home and took naps
5. had daddy's friends over alicia and scott for a bbq
daddy, i love you so much, and when i grow up, i hope i can be just like you!
