lest we forget ...

ezra’s sentences thus far …
i want my mommy!
‘ere daddy doh?
i lupf (love) baylor. (sometimes when we're practicing our i love sentences with the names of all the people we love, he gets so excited, he skips the "i" part. it will go something like this:
me: say "i"
ezra: "lupf!"
me: ezra you have to say "i" first!
ezra: "lupf!"
me: remember? "i" then "love"
ezra: "i lupf!" it's so cute. he's like, "mom, can't you tell, i figured this, out and i'm cutting corners?" :)
what do YOU want?! … one morning about a week ago, ezra was eating breakfast in his high chair while i was putting on my makeup @ the kitchen table. he was sort of squawking away, and so without looking @ him, i casually asked, “what do you want?” without missing a beat, ezra chirped back, “what do YOU want!?” i turned my head as fast as lightening and said, “WHAT???” he proceeded to then state three times rather quickly in a sing-song fashion, “what do you want? what do you want? what do you want?” so i finally responded, “i want a KISS!” he scrunched up his little face and nose and shook his head back and forth in a playful way and said, “NO!” what a little booger! J

newest words:
basketball – impressed? So are we! – i think this was his first compound word. :)
football
goldfifth – goldfish … which he sang a whole song about on our way to Wal-mart on saturday as he held the crunchy bag in his car seat. as soon as i opened the car door to get him out, he said, “goldfifth peas! goldfifth peas!” (goldfish please?) so i would open them up for him. PRECIOUS boy!

I can hear him saying these things! I wil be anxious to see the change the next time we see him. This is so awesome you can do this on the computer! I need to show you the single spaced typed pages done on erasable typing paper that record your young life. Every mistaken letter you had to stop and erase and start over. you will be so glad you took the time to do this someday!
