the TOP TEN BEST things of our Colorado trip

and now, on to TOP TEN BEST moments! and let the photos roll ... (i'm sure you all are sad i failed to take photos of my kid choking/coughing/developing pink eye - see previous post if you're wondering what i'm talking about)

1. road tripp'n with sho sho and her sis toyin - all the way from London - with an unbelievable toddler who cried only one time = cop pulling us over - can you blame him??? i was crying, too!

(ezra & sho sho chill'n in the back seat)

(toyin and i rock'n the front)

2. train watching all along the colorado country side ... from mark & laura's balcony

(note train in upper right-hand corner of photo.)

(sorry for all the wind)

3. hiking = all mom had to do was hold sweet little ezra's hand while uncle mule, errr ... i mean uncle mark did all the hard work!

(enter adorable nephew)

(note mom hard at work)
(at the top of the hike we perched on thrones of rocks like kings & queens!)

4. watching ezra learn how to blow dandelions ... and then EATING THEM UP (literally!) he was having so much fun! :)
(note seeds on face - i had shoveled these out of his mouth = gross!)

5. ice cream @ little man's where the ice cream is anything BUT little!

(i am eating a single scoop! it was more like a triple!)

(behold the hippest ice cream shop on the planet, complete with kiddie slide to the left)

6. visiting the train museum with ezra in golden = i seriously could have saved myself the $13 bucks and let the kid just play in the "zoozeum"'s lobby all morning = as it is we put in a solid hour on the thomas table. blasted table. the museum i'm sure set that up in prime toddler view to keep them off all the real trains and prevent them from damaging any of the artifacts!

(crazy is an understatement for this child when it comes to trains)

(ezra was totally fascinated by the snow blower train. it would ride the rails in the mountains and plow through snow drifts and shoot the snow out its sides. i explained how it work no less than three times to my curious boy!)
(ezra kissed every.single.train goodbye when it was time to leave!)

(ezra had so much fun this dayhe is shedding a tear from his left eye thinking about it. ok ... actually, it's his pink eye. :-)

7. eating the best Greek food i've ever tasted from the sweetest little family joint in Denver = the Shiskabob on a fun graduation date with the sis-o-la followed by drinks @ Vita's on top of a roof overlooking Denver's night time city scape = GORGEOUS!

8. full body one hour massage for graduation = THANK YOU, LAURA AND MARK!

9. mexican at the rio on the rooftop on pearl street in downtown boulder

(mahi mahi taco salad with mango salsa = pure divinity!)

10. ezra greeting passengers as they walked by at the "o-port" with "hello, peoples!" or "goodbye, peoples!"

thanks, laura & mark, we had a wonderful trip!!!
